About Pultrusion

Pultrusion is a continuous manufacturing process for composite profiles. Fabric and fiber are pulled through a custom-shaped die producing tailor-made linear structures. Typical in-die cure pultrusion speeds and lines per machine are generally low and the limited through-put is not suitable for the rod quantities required. Our out-of-die cure process allows multiple lines (up to 20 on the machine shown) and speeds over 20 ft/min.

The Future Fibres pultrusion line has processed in its first year on the order of 10,000,000 feet of carbon fiber tow.
