Starting just a week behind the last race of the Loro Pianna Regatta in the BVI’s this year’s Barths Bucket was, again, hugely popular with both yacht owners and crew alike. With no less than 36 boats participating competition could not have been stiffer.
Class A saw the newly launched 147’ ‘Unfurled’ take convincing class victory in just her second regatta.
Class B saw yacht ‘P2’ take honours, another victory from a proven race winning crew/boat combination.
‘Axia’ took Class C honours whilst ‘Freya’ took her second class win in as many weeks in the competitive Class D.
The final win went to ‘Rosehearty’ in Class E which saw some amazing battles between these truly magnificent yachts.
