Anders Burg of Bill Dixon Design commented: "With the track record that Future Fibres has it makes it a sensible choice. In addition to weight saving there are other design flexibilities offered by using PBO. You can design really nice chain plates, and there are some clever ideas for end terminals.

"The real determining factor on why we and the owner chose Future Fibres was the track record – the other guys have a lot in their brochures but actually they have done nothing, a lot of runners and that's it. Now we have used Future Fibres, it is a comfort thing – it's on one boat and other people step onboard and see it. We will recommend it for other boats because there are more and more people using it. I am a good advocate for the product; I like it, I like the track record, I like the weight saving, and I like the aesthetics."
