Future Fibres' standard fore & aft cables can be custom manufactured to perform to a number of design parameters: stretch equivalent, rod dash equivalent or break strength. Backstays, runners and checkstays are often designed to a specific working load rather than a required stiffness, taking advantage of the weight saving gained by using PBO. Future Fibres has developed a simple lightweight cable ideally suited to this purpose.
