On dry fibre cables (PBO, Dyneema and Kevlar) our three layer protection system is not only designed to compact the fibres to minimise diameter, it also serves to keep out light, moisture and resist chafe.
Our TSC solid carbon cables do not need a braided cover to retain the fibres and simply require a painted / lacquered finish for UV protection.
