The design philosophy shares the same naval architectural concepts of the other B Yachts: Great stability (55% of total weight is for the keel/bulb configuration), generous sail plan with square head mainsail and 110% overlapping jib on longitudinal tracks (like the B60) and with an innovative push button handling solution for the jib which allows to sail to be tacked from the steering wheel via the use of two separate hydraulic pistons. Also main, traveller, vang and jib halyard can also trimmed from the steering pedestal, allowing the skipper full access to the sailing controls.
