Future Fibres is pleased to announce that Seahawke Rigging in Palm Beach, Florida, is to become the latest branch of our superyacht service network.
Founder Tony Hawker has worked out of the renowned Rybovich yard for many years, however, the recent creation of his own company is coupled to the bold expansion plans of the yard, which intends to develop its sailing superyacht service and refit capabilities.
Tony has 30 year's rigging experience and whilst he has worked on boats from 10m to 65m, he has very much become a big boat specialist. He has managed refits on 56m Rosehearty, 46m Antara, 45m Mirabella 3 and 40m Genevieve to name a few and has worked on virtually the entire Perini fleet at some point over the last 20 years.
Tony is excited about the future of composite rigging:
"I have been working with big rod refits for many years but there is no doubt in my mind that everything will move to composite. This was part of the reason for going out on my own and setting up Seahawke Rigging. Rather than being tied to the traditional rod suppliers I wanted the freedom to move into newer rigging technologies. I have a talented team of guys and we are all really looking forward to working with Future Fibres. They have a reputation for first class service which is perfectly aligned with the ethos of our business."
Future Fibres' Phil Anniss:
"Following very positive feedback from skippers on our superyacht service programme and with the rapidly expanding numbers of our fleet, we have been looking to develop our service network in key, strategic locations. Tony has been working alongside a number of our superyacht service technicians for many years and he is a very talented rigger. With the expansion of the Rybovich yard and the creation of Seahawke Rigging, this was a perfect opportunity to set up a Future Service superyacht centre in the US."
